Leonardo Hidalgo is the boldest neopop artist in Miami. His work has attracted international acclaim and is collected worldwide. Ecuadorian by birth, Hidalgo, has made the United States his home since 1990 and breathes and lives art through painting as a career ever since.

Leonardo Hidalgo has been invited to exhibit his recent works at a special event in the Miami Formula 1 Grand Prix. The event will be held with the Hard Rock Stadium track as a background. A celebration to warm up motors for one of the most important sporting events in the country.
Commissioned by famed tennis player, Vasek Pospisil, artist Leonardo Hidalgo envisioned and created his greatest work to date. "Masters Of The Universe" a monumental painting depicting some of the greatest figures in science, technology and the arts whose works have given humanity significant achievements. Among them is Sir Richard Branson, a space pioneer currently dedicated to expanding the frontiers of humanity.
The mural was unveiled during a private gala at the Black Tower Gallery, located in the Miami Design District.
The art of Leonardo Hidalgo is characterized for being the only one of its kind, a quality suitable for a unique event: Scope. The international exhibition of contemporary art showcasing the best artists in a bespoke pavilion on the sands of Miami.

On November 17, 2022, Leonardo Hidalgo was introduced as one of the official artists of the Best Buddies Foundation. This is a US non-profit organization that seeks job opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The event was held at the Star Island Gallery where Anthony Shriver made the announcement of the integration of Hidalgo. Shriver is a known activist for people with intellectual disabilities, a passion that led him to create this noble organization.

On November 18, 2022, the Best Buddies Foundation hosted a spectacular Gala at the Ice Palace Studios in Miami, FL. Artist Leonardo Hidalgo donated some of his best artwork to the silent auction that was held as part of the fundraising activities that took place at the gala. Best Buddies Global Ambassador Cindy Crawford was honored at the event which featured DJ Khaled as a special guest performer.

Artist Leonardo Hidalgo was invited to participate in the 2021 edition of the Necker Cup, a world-famous tennis tournament held on Sir Richard Branson's private paradise in the British Virgin Islands. This stunning and unspoiled area of the Caribbean provided the perfect backdrop for Hidalgo to showcase his talents. During the event, Hidalgo auctioned off his painting "Space Kid," which was inspired by Sir Richard Branson's childhood dreams.
Straight from the mind of Leonardo Hidalgo, an imposing statue was forged to guard the entrance of The Iqon, Quito's tallest building. As soon as it was installed, Hidalgo's daring proposal became an instant viral sensation, flooding social media with content creator's covering of the event.
A sitting Batman, distracted with his cell phone, as if he were observing social networks, is at the foot of the tallest building in Quito.
The sculpture of the hero of Gotham City has arrived to be installed in the Iqon building, located in front of La Carolina Park and which is conceived as the tallest in the capital. Joseph Schwarzkopf, one of the Uribe Schwarzkopf executives, revealed on Tuesday, July 5, the sculpture that has been installed in the building's plaza.
The first to be photographed with Batman were the workers who currently work in the building that is under construction.
The installation is named "The World Has Changed" by Ecuadorian artist Leonardo Hidalgo. He is a neo-pop artist with a great international career who fuses various plastic disciplines inspired by real and fictional universal characters with impact.
"Batman alleged caretaker of the Gotham City (Quito) is distracted with his smartphone on social networks" (sic), Schwarzkopf posted on his Twitter account.
The promoting company stated that the sculpture will stay permanently in the Iqon. The work measures 2 m. high and weighs 150 kg. It is made with polyester resin with fiberglass patinated with matte polyurethane. Its manufacture lasted about three months.
